Okay I'm not gonna lie FF15 might be my favourite Final Fnatasy game ever because pretyt much every conversation between the characters involves puns somewhere.
and they're all delivered ABSOLUTELY DEADPAN. it's fantastic.
Imagine Noctis as king and his pals as his chief advisors and just... puns. all the time. but they're all grim faced and serious looking when they deliver them so nobody can tell if they're DELIBERATE puns, then behind closed doors all four just bust out laughing.
like, for real, they know exactly what they're doing, no doubt. But I bet you anything they fuckin love it when people are like "...w...was that a fuckin' pun!? ...wait do I dare bring it up in case it's not??" and all four of them are just there like "do it do it fuckin' ask if it was a pun I dare you :D :D :D YOU'LL NEVER KNOW HAHAHAH"
