soooooooooooooo the computer case my parents bought me for my birthday DID arrive. Next door. This tuesday just gone.
... Whoever delivered it, "delivered" it to our neighbours, who couldn't even be remotely mistaken for being our house because the name of their house is right by their door, pretty big sign, and they were out on holiday.
So when it was "Handed to recipient" that was a fuckin lie.
It was dumped behind their bins. I found out today when said neighbours returned. Yay soggy box.
Luckily, the case was very securely and safely wrapped, and not in contact with any of said wet soggy cardboard from two days of solid raining. So the case is fine. But uh...
Guess who just got a free PC case for their birthday, and guess whose parents now have gotten me a birthday present for free :3
Eat shit crappy delivery people.
@Nine i have some empathy for them bc apparently they have really strict quotas for how many things they have to deliver but also god i hate them
@pup_hime The baffling thing though is that there was no difference in distance between our door and theirs, and taking the extra time to dump it behind bins is just... wtf. Like, even if it was a quota thing surely realising it was the wrong house you were at, and delivering correctly would have been better.
@pup_hime yeah this is true! Not like the companies are really gonna lose much anyway, it's like a fuckin... what... £70 case? Tops?
...i did make one mistake, this doesn't have any drive bays for external drives... c_c; sooo, byebye dvd drive c_c;
