sometimes i think about if science has a "bottom"
like we know that particles work a certain way because they're made of quarks, and quarks work a certain way because they interact with fields, and fields work a certain way because etc etc etc
is there always going to be another layer to peel back or will we eventually reach "and X works that way because that's just the way it is"
