@PsyChuan I watched through all the Crap Guy to D&D vids, then the Crap Guide to MH ones and...
....I dunno I'm getting kinda mixed messages like he makes a shitty transphobic joke in one of the MH videoes, then IMMEDIATELY follows it up by kinda dunking on transphobia as well? Kinda??
But then also in the final MH video where he goes into how popular that series got after he finished it and goes out of character to be his own thoughts on each of the vids, he points out that joke was bad??
@PsyChuan like literally he says "Yeah I ... thought at the time it would be funny, but it clearly wasn't, and that's on me, my bad" But also kinda sorta doesn't outright say "because it was transphobic and I should have known better", but ALSO doesn't blame people's reaction for his shit joke?...
...idk what to feel about it honestly. Like, the D&D vids are clearly way funnier and better than the MH ones, and are far less even adjacently chuddy... I think like... Jo MIGHT be on the level
@PsyChuan ...but it's possible that, since Jo used to be a 4channer, that there's a lotta left over shit he's gotta unlearn and that'll take time??... and at least he seems to recognise that?? like, it was that one instance, ages ago, and his later videos are better because he doesn't do the shitty thing any more??...
And also doesn't do 4channer stuff now? I think??
