Looking at a list of suggested middle names for Ivy and under "Two syllable names," it has "Ivy Elizabeth," at number one so we're off to a great start
Okay so with a name like "Ivy Fae" I want a nice long middle name so I can sound fancy at dinner parties that I'll never get invited to.
Like "Ivy Fae" is a nice short name you can say during gossip, "Ivy Thaumiel Fae" is the name you tell a butler to announce.
Like I'm used to having a long cis name, when you had a name like (this isn't that name but it's close in structure,) Richard Von-striatum Montgom'ry-Ward, "Ivy Fae," seems pretty short.
Most trans people I know seem to like just pick a name they like, a lot are even like "Fuck it I'll pick a cool noun," and here I am like "I must pick a name that two people would realisticly name a child but also make it a name people hear and would say 'Oh! And then behind my back they'd be like 'Well her parents obviously didn't like her when they named her...'"
What if I just went fucking wild and called myself "Ivy Wednesday Fae" like it doesn't suit me at all but it'd be fun.
