found a planet with "Core Detonation Imminent" as a biome type, and decided to check it out... lava basically. very hot volcanic world.

was on that world for like... fuckin hours. not a single goddamn explosion of the planet lol. felt like the end of the Frieza saga of DBZ.
"This planet's going to explode in five minutes!"
[six hours later]
"...how long did you say?"
"ONLY SEVEN MINUTES!"
"...seven minutes?? you said four minutes two minutes ago!"

@Nine Celestial time is a lot longer, so "imminent" might mean in the next thousand to million years. :)
@Nine i had the exact same thought when I found one of those.
I guess like, on a planetary scale, "imminent" could mean "100 years".
like if you lived on a planet that only had 100 years before it explodes you would consider that pretty fuckin imminent i figure
