@noiob My parents keep/kept?? bees and I helped out with the hive once and yes ABSOLUTELY this. I am terrified of wasps, like full phobia, and as a result any buzzing insect near my ears makes me flinch and want to scream and hide. Even if I see it's a bee, I still have massive anxiety spikes and cannot help but flinch if it comes near me which is awful because I love bees ;_;

oh yeah that reminds me. I watched a short video on how come bees can just haphazardly bump into things loads.

they're literally evolved to be able to withstand bumping into tons of stuff, their wings included. It's pretty awesome! but also it's super cute watching bees just... haphazardly bop into things and each others, like each time I'm just like "aah oh no, baby, watch out please!" and they just sorta tumble away but then fly on like nothing happened, maybe just a bit dizzier.

Ok it is really hard because I gotta sorta, tip both into my face at once and keep slurping desperately so it doesn't splash all over my chin and chest and I look ridiculous but I think I can do it a little at a time if I'm super careful
