You ever wonder what happened to the "NINTENDO SIXTY FOUUUUURRRR" kid

like

I mean

did he retain his enthusiasm and love of the console even into its twilight years? did that enthusiasm pass to the Gamecube, Wii, Wii U or the Switch, or even the handhelds?

Did he get to play Bangai-O?

Did he become disillusioned with Nintendo over the years and decide to branch out to other consoles or move to PC?

I hope that the meme doesn't keep coming back to haunt him though. I really do.

@loki THANKS I HATE THIS

huh, Rage of Dust by Spyair is a legit cool tune.

@Siphonay@octodon.social yo for real? that's kinda awesome

@Siphonay@octodon.social the road to hlel is paved with good intentions :o

@Siphonay@octodon.social he should have! :O

@Siphonay@octodon.social He knew the risks.

realtalk A Fierce Good Fight is a real good, tense track that gets you pumped up perfectly. .. and then the game itself is. like... i dunno... this weird On-Rails adventure game?? where you go into FPS segments but you can't move? Like it's a light gun game almost?? but you're using a controller????

Killer 7 is a weird, weird, WEIRD game. Truly weird.

... on reflection I'm not sure I get to give Kingdom Hearts shit when I play Killer7 given its plot is easily as incomprehensible.

I forgot that killer7 had some great music to it that you basically only hear incidentally

like there's a muted version of Rave On that you hear as you approach the Vinculum Gate to pay the Soul Shells to the guy guarding it

and there's a whole damn track dedicated to Difficulty Selection. DIFFICULTY SELECTION!! NOTHING ELSE. I mean wow. what the heck. (It's called A Fierce Good Fight. the alt version is A Fierce Good Fight(Deadly) for the higher difficulty, which is just the same but sped up)

whoops meant to reply, accidentally tooted into the void. fixed now.

@chr@cybre.space My personal headcanon is that the bot they're using to send out these spam scams is trying to fight them as best it can.

Ohhh I think I don't have an actual current build of Drift Stage. I have like, a pre-alpha testing build since I didn't get the beta test backer level I don't think. Thaaat might be why it's not really in a major state of gameplay or completeness. It feels very much like just an expanded version of the very very early timetrial pre-alpha.

oh

so uh

upon trying out Drift Stage there's still not much of a game there at the moment. aaand you can quite easily fling yourself off the city race track and into unending infinite oblivion with no way to get back on the track. hm. WELP

@gingerrroot @hoodie@dev.glitch.social it's a good one tho :o

@Daylight ... I ... I for some reason am imagining Samus Aran using this as her "pet name" for Ridley

@bunnylyn someone needs to like... graffiti a big red circle around the apostrophe one night and scrawl "cut is what? See me"

oh heck I forgot again about Drift Stage and now I actually have it downloaded and I can play it now I should do that?
