thoughts re: the new shounen jump app
First off, flat out, it’s completely worth two bucks a month. You get a sizable archive of professionally translated manga, you get new chapters of popular titles simul-posted on the same week they hit stands in Japan, and you get the warm, fuzzy feeling of legitimately supporting cartoonists instead of yoinking grainy scans of their work off of shady websites.
That being said: the app does crash a LOT. And I can’t bookmark pages, which bites.
@maples ...do you think if people contacted James Blunt... he'd do that?? cover various punk and skater game soundtrack songs in his own style?... and maybe get other bands to cover his songs in their styles?
@maples oh, except for one song, which is James Blunt's "You're Beautiful", except it's covered by System of a Down instead.
@maples I'm just trying to imagine THPS games but the soundtrack is all exactly the same, except that every song is in fact a cover by James Blunt who is also the only selectable character.
@maples wait that can't be all bad. I mean in that universe they could have it REALLY bad. like, the SKATE series of games might be entirely bug and glitch free! D: what a horrid fate that would be
@maples hhhhhhhhhhhhh
