@Beancatte@snouts.online this goes for all the FF games honestly. I ... have no idea what 10 onwards are like sadly. never played them ^^;

@Beancatte@snouts.online as for the original 7 on the PS1, it's... still kinda one of my favourites but holy hell that translation is jaaank lol. the Steam/PC port apparently fixes a lot of that, and there are mods that work on it, but yeah it's... still mired in old game design.

8... I don't have a strong opinion of. other than ... this is about where I fell out of love with RPGs in general really. ._.;

9 is apparently amazing though?? Really I'd load up some cheats to play them honestly, skip the grind.

@Beancatte@snouts.online Honestly 4 has a pretty good story, but its US translation (Final Fantasy 2 Snes) is kinda clunky. It's easier than the original Japanese version tho. The Advance version is closer to the original and hasn't got anything cut outta it I think.
5 never got a western version until like, the PS1 and the GBA really. I'd have loved a DS remake of it, but... no dice unfortunately :<
6/3US is VERY story heavy, very emotional. VERRRY Long tho. Good tunes tho.

@Beancatte@snouts.online ooo have I got some recommendations for youuuu:

FF1 is... okay. It's a history lesson really. The PS1 FF Origins remake is... better tho.
2 (the original one on NES) is... mmnhhh not good. PS1 FF Origins version is better, but... still not a good gameplay system :/
3 (Nes/DSremake) If you want to play this, play the DS remake, the NES version is... well it's a NES version.
4-6: Play the GBA remakes honestly if you want SNES style but better. 4 has a DS remake too! it's good?

@lynnesbian all letters drop down into the line below them if you're not a coward B)

@Kat honestly I sometimes forget TF2 was even a thing I played.

...

actually I kinda legit forgot that TF2 had any kind of play mode asiode from Prop-Hunt and Rocket Tennis.

@shadow8t4@masto.werefox.dev on the upside, I got the chunk of plastic out, and the cable works fine, and the 2.1A socket on the battery pack also still works fine. that 2.4a socket has been bust for a long time though I guess.

at least that explains why that particular socket wasn't bloody working. -_-;

just tried out a USB 3 cable on the 2.4Amp socket on this battery pack to see if that made it work. it did not. unplugged it, went to plug in the same cable in the 2.1 amp, couldn't get it in, got annoyed , used a different cable. I've now gone to plug this USB 3 cable back in the wall socket it came from and it did not fit. no matter what. I investigated, found a chunk of plastic jammed in the plug. wondered where it was from...

...turns out it's from the 2.4A socket in the battery pack. :|

I had to take a picture of this at the Lego convention because look at how they made the reflection in the water!!

.....consider:
procedurally generated game that has similar mechanics to a hunting simulator but it's a nature photography simulator instead

so, basically No Man's Sky, but with zero combat and more detailed simulation (so maybe closer to Dwarf Fortress in that regard)

@Ronflaix i thought you said dogs there for a second and I was like "wow this is some kind of next level shitpost, far beyond my abilities to comprehend but I'mma fav anyway"

audiohazard
