Charlotte's va was clearly given the direction to be the most annoying character possible, which, considering that Charlotte was the most annoying character possible in the original game anyway, has been given a whole new dimension of awfulness with her talking "wike this constantwy!!!" And ohhhhhh my god I hate it so much. Like, cmon squeenix, you had a chance to turn the most annoying character into someone likable aaaaaand... You did not. You did the exact opposite.

Okay so... Trials of Mana has a pretty good demo. There are some issues though.

Mostly voice acting. It's extremely clunky for pretty much everyone except for the Mage girl and the himbo Knight.

Kevin's va I think has been given bad direction with the lines. I get that they're trying to convey he's really bad with language but he stops and starts at weird points. Reisz's va is competent enough but her delivery feels... Forced and unnatural.

but if you have a cast that's mostly made of broody white men with short hair and scruffy beards with a few token girls you gotta rescue, you'd best watch yourself cause you're on thin friggin ice.)

if your game isn't full of girls for the main cast, or in fact, every main character, both villains, protagonists and side characters, that are all gay for each other, then can you even really call yourself a game developer
