...i bet luigi would only offer help if you asked for it, y'know?

He'd be like, "here's some picross puzzles I made, I hope you like them!" and then he'd just, sit there, and maybe worry ab it if you were struggling, but he'd be so happy when you beat it, and if you looked like you were struggling he'd only offer help if like, you ran outta time the first time, or if you looked at him for help. He'd be chill.

dsfajklahsdfklasdf fuck and also the mario levels have a free hint thing at the start like fuck off mario i am good at picross WARIO doesn't fuckin' pull shit like this his levels he KNOWS you're up for picross and lets you just go at it raw without any help, like, he RESPECTS your brains. Mario tries to be nice but dammit the dude can be unintentionally insulting.

That's the one help feature I like.

the mario snes picross game is good but... it doesn't do that. the help it offers is auto correcting you if you make a flagrant mistake (which also reduces the time left) but if you don't REALISE you're about ot make a mistake it feels like you accidentally pressed the button twice so you make the same mistake repeatedly and then run outta time. pff.

also the one help it COULD do with is letting you know when you've filled in a bunch of numbers

how Picross S does it and how World's Biggest Picross on my phone does. It lets you know when you've say got a set of clues on a line and you're sure that the 4 that's in there can only go in one place so you plonk it in and the 4 gets crossed off on the clue so you know you've done the only 4.

@ottumon I now want to watch an entire anime series that is literally a D&D game played by goofballs but instead of it being a game the characters are real people in this real world that's full of demons and monsters and people and whatnot and it still all runs by game logic and the players/party are aware of the mechanics and that's what makes them adventurers like .hack// but not a videogame

...but like, really amateurishly done wallpapering. so like, it'll be peeling in places, hanging off the walls, misaligned and stuff.

and like, there'll be slapdash paint slapped on places and splashed and a couple of "whoops still under construction" bits
