@owashii@snouts.online @monorail Oh no this is fair, definitely, but it just... 4 is in no way different to 3, It's a full priced sequel using ideas for DLC for 3, but just extended even more, and... even has largely the exact same weaponry, cars and everything, even the city hasn't changed any. It's... more like Saints Row 3.5 honestly. I enjoyed it! But... mhhm... I dunno if I enjoyed it as much as I liked 3.
@owashii@snouts.online @monorail (honestly my headcanon is, despite having not played 1, or much of 2, that as of the ending of 1, the main character, the one you play throughout ALL the games, is still in a coma, even through SR4, and has never woken up, hence why things get increasingly weirder and sillier. They save the city in the ending of 1, and everything is (mostly) gritty and dark and grim in that one apparently, so it makes sense they'd want a nicer world, a more fun one. so they dream one up)
