I was still getting regular Spectrum game magazines like Crash, Your Sinclair and (to a lesser extent because it was far less focused on games at the start) Sinclair User, and i feel sure at least one of them would have mentioned the GX4000, i musta forgotten about it entirely lol

aw dang I just found out 1) RM (Research Machines) still exists, and still sells computers to schools

but 2) they just sell prebuilt HP systems now (in admittedly kinda nice cases) and not their own RM Machines that ran a RISC processor and like... I think it was RM DOS or something?

and also 3) their logo is really dull now ;;
