@envgen my first thought was "wtf what is with this 1960s lookin' cover art as a sequel to flubber" and then I found out that Flubber is basically... a ... remake?? of the Absent Minder Professor, and... Son of Flubber is a sequel to THAT and... god my mind is just friggin blown

Another reason FF15 is great

you can just... warp back to where you parked your car. or the last rest stop you rested at immediately (minus the car), so you never gotta go "fuck where'd I park again?" i mean even if you DO want to hoof it across the wilderness to find your sweet wheels you can still see on the map where it is, which is pretty great.

...could do with that feature in real life honestly. I can NEVER friggin remember where we parked.

@Chickiepup @finn @PsyChuan@snouts.online TEHCNICALLY

you can take a bear's arm and walk them down the aisle with this right though.

the gov don't want you to know this one tho!

@Chickiepup @finn @PsyChuan@snouts.online Right to Bear Arms.

You have the right to have arms as a bear. or to have a bears' arms. or to replace your human arms with bear arms.

you cannot combine these though.

@mallaidh @avie@awoo.space i see four impala, three of which looking left :O

@Lioness@the.monsterpit.net (though you can do the making of spells any time you like. Usually by default it creates three "doses" of the spell, Fire at its basic level, with just pure elemental energy of that form for example. The more you put in, the more potent it is. Adding in certain catalysts creates BETTER versions of the spells, adds in healing effects or poison effects, slow/stop, etc effects. So you could , for instance, make a Firaga spell that also casts five times AND cures you a lot.)

@Lioness@the.monsterpit.net So, beforehand, in FF8 there were just... draw points dotted around the world, and they gave you a random few doses of magical spells, like Fire, Fira, Cure, whatever.

In FF15, you get elemental draw points of Lightning, Fire and Ice effects. These are almost always around Havens (camp sites where you can eat a meal to give stat buffs, and convert any gathered XP into your character's levels, gain Ascendancy points etc. You can then spend elemental energy to MAKE spells instead!

It's my duck in a box~ (duckposting adjacent technically!)

So I was helping Miq with a lot of DIY work yesterday. On one project.

House renovations for the ducks :3

I forgot to take pictures of us working but we turned the shed into way more of a proper coop!

Check it! Bonus picture of Thulhu on a bale of hay that was temporarily moved a we could work on the shed :3

Thinkin' bout FF15 and how... the world ... is... kinda... a mess.

like for real

ruins everywhere, rusted out abandoned cars and trucks and buildings and...
...everyone's like "yeah that's normal, whatev"

...like there WAS some recent great war I guess but... I dunno, some of this feels more... ancient. like there was some huge friggin disaster, and PRETTY sure one of the landmarks I passed was a fuckin' meteor impact or some shit.

Some shit went down either way

@Kat "yeah but what it do?"
"...it PIPES. FROM A BAG, christ, how much simpler could it possibly be? get with the program."

oh shit the boys are playinga mobiel game while they camp out this shit is fuckin adorable

also Noctis does not like BEEAAANNNS apparently and like... lol

also dammit Ignis let ME drive the damn car! I wanna go get the damn windscreen fixed, fuck!

Weird there only seems to be Fire, Ice and Lightning elements tho

Interesting how FF15 brings back Draw Points from FF8 in a sort of way.

fun fact: the line "never let a computer tell me shit" in the deltron 3030 song things you can do is a reference to ok computer by radiohead
