the lyrics to The Killer's "Somebody Told Me" seem to imply that the singer has a friend who either a) has a very femme presenting/appearing boyfriend that looks just like a girl they once dated last year.
b) has a boyfriend who is apparently trans masc and the singer might have just outed them in public
or c) has a boyfriend who is also the girlfriend the singer had last year because they are a shapeshifter and can change forms at will
