@owashii@tech.lgbt @Lotherme@the.monsterpit.oh no this is way more adorable and precious and sad thhan I thought and I wish to hug the Samus and let her know it's all gonna be okay and she's a good birb ;;
@owashii@tech.lgbt @Lotherme@the.monsterpit.net honestly if Samus had way more bird-like behaviours that would be way cooler, cuter, and more interesting.
like Imagine if she just... instead of a bed, has like... a nest. in her ship. that's why she spends all her time in it.
@Lotherme@the.monsterpit.net metroid 0 : THE BABY
@legendaryjoeb oh... my god that... might be the best one yet <3
@avie@awoo.space *stares at the meters as they wobble precariously, inches from an oscar as the entire DC cinematic universe teeters on the edge of a cliff* ...don't worry lads, I've got a plan.
@owashii@tech.lgbt *sneakily looks around, leans in, whispers* the good pupy iiiis

#mastoadmins Hey, if your mastodon instance uses letsencrypt, there could be some issues going ahead.
https://letsencrypt.org/2020/11/06/own-two-feet.html
You may very well need to badger the hell out of your certificate provider, masto.host would be the one to do it on if you use their service.
Even if you don't use letsencrypt this could cause issues with federating with other instances. Anyway, good adminining

@dirt@skull.website you either lose the game on turn 20 to a genius level play by your opponent, or you play long enough to become the reigning champion only to get beaten by a chess computer owned by a corporation who basically cheated to win

block recommendation (spam instances, right-wing agitprop, antivax, etc)
A group known as "fightbigtech" has been creating a ton of spammy instances full of rightwing agitprop.
Here's a list of the ones I could find:
- tweety.icu
- katiehopkinspolitical.icu
- voicenews.icu
- antivaxxer.icu
- theduran.icu
- censorship.icu
- political.icu
I would recommend general suspicion of any .icu domain, seeing as they're cheap — don't autoblock them, but perhaps check their content if they show up.
re: instance admin
@finn@surfin.dog if this instance comes back up as surfin.horse i'm going to be so disappointed.
proud, but also disappointed.
@finn@surfin.dog this horsing around with neural nets has got to stop
re: Need Pc building advice :boost_requested:
@gulfie Oooo! That's ABSOLUTELY a good reason to get an RTX card then, totally go for it! *nodnod* If it's task specific then, yeah, the RTX will probs do a lot for your performance in blender. Though... the extra ram will DEFINITELY help too and prevent other bottlenecks for the time being.
