re: Hollow Knight

@socks Same. Granted I had some tips before I tried it, but god that's a great battle, and I absolutely love that killing them isn't how you beat them. They legit go "yeah okay you're strong enough to go past our barrier. You're fuckin' badass. We respect you" and like, when you're in their village, you stop getting attacked any more and everything, it's brilliant :D

(also helps the three mantis lords are ladies)

@finn@surfin.dog i guess that does make you our little clogchamp

@jacethechicken Sauron: "Oh gosh oh gosh he's wearing it aaaaaa he's wearing the ring i had made! omgomgomg do you think he can see me? do I look hot enough? oh my god what if he thinks I look hideous oh god aaaa"

re: mkwii

what NMS says: "This particular creature you're looking for only exists in caves, and is uncommon, but is ALWAYS active no matter the time of day!"
what NMS means: "haha good luck finding this one fucko lol maybe it's those giant unscannable worms that show up as a new species and this is a glitch maybe it's not HAVE FUUUUN :D :D :D"

@legendaryjoeb "Ah, Interloper! You have returned early!"
"Tradepost got eaten by worms"
"...what?"
*purchasing and installing ridiculous amounts of heavy weaponry onto ship* "Tradepost got eaten by worms"

also me: *gets a ship in NMS called the TZ-31 Kushada*
me: nah... that ain't right... That needs renaming.
ship: *now called the TRZ-3 Kushinada because I am a giant friggin weeb even though I didn't even like Gundam Wing and never watched much of it*
me: perfect 'w'

me: *loads up my NMS save, where I last saved at a trade outpost*
game: *sudden loud screenshaking and borrowing noise*
me: what the fu-oh shit lol it's one of those unscannable giant worms let's have a look at it for giggles
Scanner: "Stomach Contents: Entire Trade Outposts"
me: o_o *looks at readout to be sure* *looks at trade outpost I'm sat on* *looks back at how close worm came to said trade outpost*....... NOPE. 8D

Sup, nerds. Wanna buy some software on floppy disks? Of course you do. That's why I'm selling msync, my command line mastodon client, on floppies! I have builds for Linux, OSX, and Windows ready to ship.

And if floppies aren't your thing, I have these lovely Office of Consensus Maintenance stickers, too.

I accept orders by internet, fax, and mail.

: )

@yuki @joshua hmm, let's examine this

Outlander -> Mysterious, open ended, could be anything from a stranger in a strange land, to someone who just lives on the outskirts of society in general, to just some person who just lives in what are effectively the suburbs, high likelihood of waking up on a prison ship and being unceremoniously dumped off at a random city with no idea where you are or what you're doing and just told "go get a job you're free", also high chance of ascending to godhood

@Cynder Jeopardy!
