Our old tomcat, Frankie (he was a moggie, tabby and white) used to do that though not loud. he used to give these nearly silent little "ah~" noises instead of loud meows except when he was hungry. Very conversationalist boy he was though. Moka sounds like an absolute precious darling. Give him a snuggle from me ^^
