@Rosemary Online for certain it's usually like £30 or so :< or whatever the exchange rate is these days

@Rosemary Depends on where you shop? But this DOES likely mean going out into the general populace to find a pawn shop/cash generator/second hand/whatnot store that has them for sale and I can fully understand that's not always an option, or sometimes not at all an option depending on transportation, availability or ability to do so safely.

@maple alternative response:
tired: crawling into bed
wired: noclipping INTO bed.

@maple I used to do this thing in a roleplay chatroom I used to actually do stuff on (rather than just log in and go silent because I'm so busy with everything else or just not log in at all but still load the login page) where when I logged off I'd emote physglitching through the floor or a wall or something to escape that reality and go to bed.

@Rosemary
Failing that you could probably get one of the older rvl model number Wii's for like £10

@Rosemary
Yeah. I'm sorry. The internet was playing tricks on me :< I mean I guess you can do GC games via the older Wii's which do have cheap and available component hd cables, but from what I've looked up, just like you said, the quality just isn't as good :( I had no idea the GameCube had a proprietary hd connector thing

@Rosemary
Oh bugger I just double checked and for some daft reason Amazon was recommending Nintendo Wii component hd cables -_-

@Rosemary
Wait really?? O_o so you can't just get a standard third party component cable because it won't properly work?? Jeez... That's pretty awful. I mean I've seen third party cables on Amazon fairly cheap but I take it if they don't have the chip in as well it doesn't work right? :(
