"just stop using <thing>" is a completely worthless response to somebody complaining about something.
if someone uses something despite complaining, it's either not bad enough for them to warrant stop using it or there's another reason why they can't.
it does nothing but radiate a smug aura full of elitism.
@lynnesbian posting to the fediverse in order to be owned by a bune :3
@BatElite *hmms, ponders this whilst hugging you* an interesting idea
@LANthus "That was an interesting video. glad I watched it."
Youtube: "HEY you know that video you just watched? Have WE got some RECOMMENDATIONS for YOU!"
"...this is ... the same video I just watched."
"Yeah we recommended it because it's so similar to the video you just watched! Why not watch it?"
"...IT'S THE SAME VIDEO!?"
"...? i fail to see the problem??? so anyway you gonna watch it or what?"
"I'VE ALREADY WATCHED IT! YOU EVEN SHOW ME I'VE ALREADY WATCHED IT!"
"Yeah, and?"
"FHFHASF!??"

you can't keep them but you can ride bears! :D )
@Doggo the game is really, really good at giving you a small number of tools, which are usable in a myriad of different ways, and a physics engine which is extremely robust and stable,
and just... lets you make your own solutions to problems.
@Doggo It's startlingly beautiful. Even in portable mode. ALso it's just... so good with its puzzles. If you think "wow wouldn't it be cool if I could do X", you very most likely can.
Think that in a game it would be nice if say, you could cut down a tree with the axe you just got to make it bridge a ravine?
Or wish you could nudge a huge boulder off onto a bunch of monsters below?
or think it would be hilarious if you could launch a huge metal box into your foes?
you can do all that. and more
@tom What now? Exits are East, West, South, Kitchen
