@sophia @spookywitch i ran a gab instance for a little while to see what's going on with them. they're monetizing it by making you pay for a pro account to invite people, post webms and other videos, use custom emoji, etc. it's the most thinly veiled scam i've ever seen.

Yep yep! Apparently that chip was made by Argonaut software who I think also made starglider on the spectrum and suchlike? Either way it's a genius little chip. They used it in Mario kart as well didn't they?

Ugh same. The music, the characters, the environments, so much good shit in there...
But yeah. Ash is a horrid fucking character and boss. All the "censorship" edits, aside from the storyline, are for the better in sor3. I just wish the story didn't have to suffer.

Yeah!! It's so pretty and good and fun! It handles nicely, and looks great, and really pushes the SNES hardware! Absolutely perfect! *Quickly shushes the game as it attempts to prove this false with the screaming baby noise when you get hurt* not a single bad point at all :D
Also I love all three streets of rage games, but bare Knuckle 3 had a way better story than sor3 did... That said the Ash boss fight is just garbage and a half and I'm glad it's not in sor3. Ugh.
