@BestGirlGrace @hierarchon @irisjaycomics what if the Turing Compete Caper was released but had to be edited down for time, but then later a "directors cut" version was released. Would that the be Turing Compete Caper: Turing Complete Edition?
I have no idea, guns
@katherine "telegram, sir"
"Wh... Do you know what damn time it is???"
"Yes sir, I'm aware. I also got paid way more money than it was worth to refuse so we're both up this early. Telegram reads: what you doin babe thirsty for some hot lead filling, stop. Come by the church, right now, stop. My cattle aren't home, stop.'
"... Does it really say that?"
"Verbatim, no sir. He was exceedingly drunk so I had to do some editing to make it legible. And less lurid."
"You wouldn't happen to be the famous android bounty hunter, Arrivederci Jackknife, would you?" The cyborg's sizzling red eye glared at the mysterious stranger across the vantablackjack table, who pounded back another shot of synthwhiskey in reply.
"Maybe I am," he growled. "Depends on if you want to stay quiet and walk out of here alive, or if you want to get perforated with 837 rounds of EMP-tipped nano-lead."
Outside the rain fell like contraband diamonds from God's 3D printer in the sky.

A cat I used to have when I was younger, called Babushka (my mother named her after the song, her sister was called Pinkle Purr after the cat in the A.A.Milne poem), had this old woolen cardigan that became hers, that she used to crawl inside the sleeve of, and then just... flop. except all her limbs would stick right out, rigid. And she'd just lay there and purr and pad gently inside the sleeve for hours... I miss that doofus ;w;
@noiob "Do not attempt to adjust your java environment. We are in control now. There is no escape."
@Skirmisher i didn't know i wished for this but I do now because regardless of how slow it was that WAS kinda nice.
...it was super weird when some images loaded in like blocks instead though, and I hated when it was just like a big low detail mosaic thing that would slowly get more high-res as time went on.
