Food
@Ivafakename yes you can. No I wouldn't recommend it.
No not because it's bad or anything I just really don't like nuts of any kind except macadamia and even then not in every context.
Cornflakes are good tho. Just could do without the nuts
@loki oh yeah you definitely wanna miss that D: especially since it's hosted in Tokyo. We accidentally came about the time of the rugby world cup here in Japan, but I think we've managed to just about avoid it
@loki October is a good time to visit apparently. We actually came about the time of a particular festival to do with moon gazing? I wanna say tsukimi? Which wasn't intentional but the weather has been spectacular, if rather hot and humid. Later October is better if you prefer cooler weather (also perhaps a bit cheaper too)
@loki Japan in general is really lovely. The people are super polite and accommodating but never to the point of cloying or silliness. They're just so pleasant and lovely, especially if you make the effort to try and speak Japanese and reciprocate their politeness.
@Ivafakename shiny happy beeple
@loki yeah! It probably contributes to just how tidy Japan is! Trash is just... So rare.
@Ivafakename either bapples, or beeples. I'm definitely leaning towards beeples.
@g YES
@Nine punmanteau
@loki realtalk I took my first photo of food in my life while here in Japan. Normally I'm too busy enjoying the food to take a photo. But the shaved ice I had was just too pretty to not do so. Also in Japan it's rude to walk and eat so since I was heading towards a bench in the shade to eat it, I had a bit of free time.
Also never ever:
A) give me the chance to make a pun. Because I will.
B) sunglasses
C) put two nouns next to each other in any vicinity to me in conversation because I will without fail make a portmanteau of them
D) Gogol from cyber city oedo 808 smiling
E) allow me to make a punny portmanteau. The resulting double fusion will destroy any patience with me you had like an antimatter-matter reaction
yeah i'm moving over to chitter.xyz now. Soooo go there! I'm there now.
