One of the ads I got which mercifully was a skippable one I caught a glimpse of something that I wasn't sure I'd seen correctly. The ad didn't show up again for ages.... Until just now, and it turns out... I had seen it correctly

Ads are usually based on your searches and whatnot but you can usually choose to opt out of "personalised ads" for a lot of things?
Which I've done wherever possible.
This may be why I'm getting ads for an app called Wish which seems to be eBay for people who "found stuff that fell off the back of a truck and it's totally a legit Rolex I promise it's just a typo that makes it say Fauxlex" or cheap knock-off garbage.

and discover that nobody can tell you're a pokemon as long as you're wearing the hat
the professor offers you a starter pokemon and you just kind of bat at one of the pokeballs with a paw, so they say "the strong silent type, yeah? some of the most powerful trainers in the world were the same way"
you fight the first gym leader by placing a pokeball down with your mouth and pressing the button, and your opponent is wowed by your eccentric technique
and the whole game continues that way until your hat gets knocked off in the middle of the battle with the champion

Thulhu is fine and dandy though. She doesn't much care for going out anyway except for toilet.
Oh Sid is okay btw forgot to mention. His stitches are healing really nicely, he's happy as anything and all but back to his normal self, except for being a little grumpy because he has to stay indoors until Friday.
Unfortunately because he's a really smart cat this means we have to lock the outer catflap completely so none of the cats can get out. It's... Not pleasant. But it'll be back to normal soon.
