"No i had bullet proof armour!" "no I had anti-bulletproof armour bullets!" "Yeah but this is anti-bulletproof armour bulletproof armour!" etc.)

@cozykaffe@snouts.online and... I'm really bad at that because I'm too shy a lot of the time, even online... but even if the entire community changes, so what? As long as it still feels safe, as long as it still feels good, then it's worth sticking around, so those who are new get to make friends with people who are there, and you can make new friends too.

@cozykaffe@snouts.online Yeah, I know the feeling. I was part of a chatsite that's been running since the mid 90s, a freeform roleplaying one. I've,... literally watched the ENTIRE community change. P. much everyone from the "old guard" is gone (to be honest, good riddance to a lot of them), and even though I wasn't there when it first started I'm still considered part of that "old guard".

At first I felt "oh god everyone's gone" but... really, all that happened was new people came. And I made new friends.

@cozykaffe@snouts.online Sure there's still issues, but anybody who'd choose Twitter over Masto, well, they've made their choice. Twitter'l;ll probably stay around, but so will Mastodon, it's not a flash in the pan, or a "fad". It's staying, in one form or another.

@cozykaffe@snouts.online never leaving masto even though I still have a twitter account because at least on here I don't HAVE to worry about random nazi chuds up in people's mentions or massive swathes of TERFs or wanting to use blocklists but then finding out said blocklists have been corrupted by shitty bad faith actors and now work against their purpose.

Here if a bunch of bigots start an instance it can just be removed and defederated from. No issues.

what the fuck all the time i was playing KOTOR one and I didn't even realise that as a girl Revan (arguably the only true canon Revan) you can romance Juhani if you save her when you first meet her but the questline is BUGGED AS FUCK and nigh impossible what in the shit. I probably coulda romanced her but for the bugs godammit

@witchfynder_finder headcanon, cerberus is the name of all three of the dogs because they're basically identical, the light isn't so great down in the underworld, and Hades kept forgetting which one was which, so they're all named Cerberus.
