ren what sound does saying " :3 " make anyway

oh that's easy

it makes a :3 noise.

@codl "Ren why are you picking up that banana peel"
"shut up it might be important later"
"It's garbage, throw it away!"
"NO!"

*six hours later, putting the finishing touches on a rube goldberg machine that will activate a cobbled together device to shut down the doom portal that will otherwise destroy the entire timeline*

"GOSH SURE WISH I HAD A BANANA PEEL RIGHT NOW, WOULD BE REALLY HELPFUL"
"..."
"OH LOOK, I DO! GOSH! WOW THAT WAS LUCKY!"
"...ALRIGHT, FINE, YOU WERE RIGHT."
" :3 "

@jk the additional spacing makes me read "a  pokemon" as bass boosted.

...

and knowing you that's intentional

I really hope they can be found and... I HOPE they get rescued and sent back to Japan so they can be safe :( I really hope they don't have to be euthanased.

APPARENTLY, some chucklefuck brought back twelve breeding pairs of tanuki from Japan, and was breeding them, probably for exotic pets, then apparently fucked off to Wales and just... released them all into the woods nearby.

aaaand now there's a bunch of breeding pairs of wild animals in an environment that's entirely unfamiliar to them, that did not evolve in said environment.

Sure Japan might have places where the weather is similar, but... jfc.

The poster in the window says "Information wanted, have you seen this animal?" and has a picture of a Tanuki (raccoon dog).

the text reads:

"These are known as the Japanese tanuki (raccoon dog) it appears that a number of these have been released in the area, if you happen to see one, please don't attempt to capture it as they may bite, but contact BeastWatch UK C.I.C (BWUK)"

There's a pair of phone numbers below, a thank you, and both a website link and the text "find us on facebook" below.

So uh ... Saw this in a sweetshop window near Calver in the peak District while I was out today...

Clearly someone in that driving school had a sense of humour because they'd obviously deliberately spelled out "LOL" using the two L plates and the Renault logo.

sat behind a learner driver today in the car as we travelled around doing things.

Noticed there were two L-plates (white square temporary-ish stickers or magnetised plates with a red upper-case L that are stuck onto cars of drivers who are in the process of learning to drive) on the back.

...Then noticed it was a Renault Clio car.

If you don't know, the logo of Renault is like, a diamond shape, with the top and bottom trimmed off, and the centre hollow.

The L-plates were either side of this.

me meeting temmie for the first time: "haha, 'muscles r not cute', what a mood."
me immediately after meeting undyne: "temmie how are you this wrong about things oh god."

If you have $4 and like cyberpunk, help me put some food in my kids' mouths!
"This is secretly the greatest and also funniest cyberpunk point and click adventure game on Steam. Very low-fi art style but the gags are just too good to pass up, and a lot closer to a "real" cyberpunk dystopian future than most favorites of the genre."

@e_Glyde it's like... Kinda like a dungeon crawler?? Action based though. Very silly and fun! Mostly about chucking junk at enemies a lot as you explore the ruins of failed startup companies XD
