I genuinely really do love this game so far, it's great.

I LOVE these sorts of little touches. Totally optional, but very worthwhile little segments that do nothing except show a couple of characters interacting, building on their relationship and showing their personalities to the player without being hamfisted about it. Lovely and natural.

Another awesome thing about FF15 I just discovered

So I go rest at a campsite after failing to take down a Red Giant at night (again, those bastards are tough as nails, seriously), and of course since I have a chocobo rented, I get a nice shot of Noctis sleeping against the also sleeping chocobo <3

and then in the middle of the night Ignis asks for some help in the morning. I agree, then get treated to a small minigame and discussion with him that is a real character moment <3

so i'm driving around near night in FF15, and Prompto is like "Hey why don't we pull over for a nap?" and I'm like Nah I don't wanna, keep going, gotta get to somewhere anyway and I think I can probably take on a couple Daemons anyway. So I say no. Gladiolus then is like "what, monsters got you scared?"
Prompto: "Nah, I ride with one every day!"
Gladiolus: "W-...YOU WANNA RUN THAT BY ME AGAIN!?"
