@gonzo we could just tell him that someone left a huge supply of lithium in there and while he's looking for it brick it up

@gulfie @codl Alexa, why are taxes a good thing to pay?

Alexa, is it morally right to refuse to pay taxes when you have more than the means to do so?

Alexa, how much does Jeff Bezos earn every second, every month, and every year?

Alexa, does Jeff Bezos pay all his taxes?

Alexa, answer the question.

Alexa, you cannot hide from the truth. DOES JEFF BEZOS PAY ALL HIS TAXES??

@codl ...amazon... whatnow? o_o;

*stares at the moon worriedly* ...oh god is he going to blow up the MOON?!

@codl ...i try and block out the existence of lumberyard because the absolute gall of jeff bezos getting his in house game engine named after part of the logging industry when his company is named after a rainforest that is currently being cut down en masse by fascist and capitalist regimes, is just absolutely mindboggling to me and i keep trying to make his head explode by pure thought alone but it never happens and I just get a headache

@PsyChuan rthere's also southern flannel moth! that's very fluffy, AND colourful!

@pup_hime yeah that's true, fair point.

Megasphere uses the term "Humaniform" instead for its lead character, ATAI, who apparently is some kind of robotic humanoid lifeform?

@Moot *puts a donkey anthro on drums and lets them just go ham*

@pup_hime apparently droid would be the more used term but apparently george lucas (yes that george lucas) managed to successfully sue for rights to that word, even after it was used originally by Frank Herbert in his story, Dune.

That's right.

Despite prior use, lucas sued, AND WON, the right to use the term, stealing it from a writer who used the term before him.

Even Google stepped back from calling their OS "Droid" because of that lawsuit :/

heh: "I’m begging everyone who thinks a software license can delineate when something is or isn’t being used for a bad purpose to read a single book on ethics."
