@jk a set of ten fingertip mice, strapped to the ends of your fingers, so you can touchtype on an onscreen keyboard

omg the way of falling out of elementally charged points, to craft into spells. something that lives in a car and as a joyous occasion, a freeing of one's soul and very being.

@heatherhorns @owashii@plush.city (also each will be accompanied by a face of the main character of the game in appropriate reaction)

re: anxiety mentions

@heatherhorns @owashii@plush.city brb creating a game with difficulty levels on the following scale:
1: lofi beats to chill/study/relax to
2: Quick pop to the shops
3: that important telephone call you have to make
4: dragged to a party by a close friend who immediately disappears the moment you get there
5: your mum found your AD twitter account

@owashii@plush.city Course, if you got shit like "I just want the story"/"I want a challenge"/"LET'S FUCKIN GOOOOOOOOOO!!"/"peace was never an option"" as your difficulties, I'm also very much sold lol

@owashii@plush.city I honestly love "difficulty settings" that are more descriptive, or just evocative of the game challenge itself.

"Assist" or "Casual" is a good term for "easy" difficulties, and I prefer "Classic" or "Default" for "normal" difficulty.
"Hard" is acceptable, but I prefer "Challenging" or "Enhanced Challenge", stuff like that, and "Hardcore" or "Lethal", or stuff like that is very welcome as opposed to "Very Hard".

legit forgot there was a scifi dungeon crawler called Star Crawlers that came out not long after Legend of Grimrock (2 I think?) did, and that it has music by Ben Prunty of FTL, Into the Breach, and Subnatica Sub Zero fame.

...it's on my wishlist now in any case because heck. it looks goooood

@avie@awoo.space @Siph@rage.love
artist to me: "Thank you so much for the payment !I'll get started on this asap!"
me, to artist: "No no, it's quite alright! Please, do not rush yourself or-"
my brain: [screaming noises]
artist: "...uh... what-"
me, louder, to drown out my brain's screaming: "PLEASE DO NOT RUSH YOURSELF ON ACCOUNT OF ME ouo;; "
artist: "No really what's that screaming noise?"
brain: WANT ART NOW WANT ART NOW WANT ART NOW W-
me: *shoving socks into my brain's mouth to shut it up* "NOTHING CARRY ON"

@finn@surfin.dog (realtalk it is simultaneously awful and also hilarious that the poor extras in that scene were told they would not get paid if they laughed, and they were deliberately trying to make them break character and laugh, so those pained, desperate faces and noises they make are all real. Really shitty of them to put them through that stress, hope they paid them extra, but... goddamn it was funny ngl.)
