Ren - Moved to chitter.xyz @Nine@computerfairi.es

Ren is clearly short for something bigger so my brain just went "uh, uhhh... Ren-... alia??... Renalia. yeah."

It is only very recently that I realise that is also the name of an extinct plant that I can only describe as a "buttshrub" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renalia

not helped that I gave my sona the last name "Leaf" because it sounded pretty okay with it

5: hahaha this is a little embarassing actually... (´·ω·` ｡)
so basically I'd been reading through the Flash version of Ruby Quest again. I really really liked that story for some reason, like it was just the right mix of silliness, dark horror, cuteness and feels. aaand of course being an awful nerd i wanted to make an OC based on it. hence "Nine".

But also I recognised the need for an actual NAME so... pulling it out of my arse, I chose "Ren".

That was about the point I also started admitting to myself I wasn't cis as well... whiiiich I guess also sort of answers 4 too?

4 addendum: Again, it was literally "what would I love to wear given the chance?? and with a body kinda like mine, but also not male because that doesn't feel right for some reason???? lol i dunno can't POSSIBLY be that i'm not cis lol". Afterwards it became "holy shit this is just me why haven't I noticed. god..."

And my brain latched the fuck onto it. At the time though I was... not well I guess? So I started playing around as this new character who I hadn't intended to put so much of myself into but DID? but I didn't realise at the time? so I sort of... abandoned the character. It wasn't until a couple years later I tried to resurrect the character elsewhere to reuse it that I realised just how much more comfortable it was to me.

3: Basically it got... "procedurally generated"?... ini that I created a new character on SPR MUCK just called "Nine" with no other traits or description or anything as I couldn't figureo ut what character I wanted to created while I was in some kind of weird fugue state... Eventually I squeaked quite instinctually in embarassed response to somoene's playful teasing and I was like "...wait what squeaks maybe?" and someone mentioned "maybe skunks?".

2: Not my first, no. My first was... actually a winged silver fox? I have... one piece of art I think, but I have no idea who drew it or why, I didn't commission them that I remember, I just got... given it randomly and it was cute?? but I failed to write down who gave it to me ;;

ARTS! by Catterfly (first and last, with the last also starring @rycuda for some cute snugglin'), Ottahz on FA for the second, and Catboots for the third which also stars as my icon :D

9: Ye. :< I wish it didn't but I get super blushy, but in unfun ways. I CAN talk about it sometimes, but most of the time if it comes out of the blue or it's in "public" (like even on a chatroom or MU* designed to be lewd and openly sexual) hooooly hell the anxiety starts... :<
