more digging through my old files hecko, OTHER people's way better art!

I did commission some art of her though! Which I still have and I do love <3 It's by GoreSymphony on FA, though they've moved account to satanickpaws on the same site. They don't have this art up it seems which is a shame but it's v. cute and I love how they brought her to life.

more digging through my old files hecko, my own terrible art

Forgot I did this! It's bad but I made an icon for a character of mine that I used to run a twitter account for. Her name is Kai, and she was a trans girl hacker fox. I don't play her any more, and I shut the twitter account down, because...

... to be honest it didn't fit so well any more? and I felt like I was... maybe just getting a little too fantastical and weird with it. I wasn't happy how I was writing the story anyway.

oh god looking through my files and i found when I did this awful memm and aaaaa

See this? This shit is plastered on top of tweetdeck no matter what and won't go away, I can't cancel it, I can only click the get me out of here button and welp that takes me to avast's storefront.

oh good my Surface Pro 4 is nearly done installing updated to itself
just this one last feature update... which uh... ... hm. seems to be taking its time

... I mean I GUESS Avast is looking out for me what with blocking twitter but...

fucksake, Avast keeps blocking tweetdeck saying "this website may have harmed your computer" but gives me no option to ignore it. it wasn't doing it last night, it suddenly started now. I updated Avast, it's still doing it after a reboot. bloody damn thing.

The term "log on" in technology was actually borrowed from the logging industry, where to get logs floating down the river into the sawmill, they have to be lined up precisely one by one with the sawblades - a process called "logging on" in industry jargon.

This was borrowed by early computing centers as a metaphor for users queueing up at the reception desk with requests to use the computers.

it's 1am and i wanna sleepy
but the masto timeline got me beepy

If you ever feel bleh today, remember that the official mascot for Lo-Fi Hip-Hop is a little tired raccoon college student who is constantly online vibing to their own playlist and scrolling through feeds to chat with his pals.
