I just paid all the bills but my phone for last month and I'm flat broke and my phone autopay decided to kick through on my birthday and I'm *maybe* gonna get paid as soon as Thursday.

A quirk I love about modern english (early and current) is that whenever we noun a verb the stress moves from the first to the second syllable to denote "thing-ness"

Hence, you record a record; rebels rebel; a permit permits; an envelop envelopes; and you suspect the suspects.

I like to call Sid "Siddy-beans" because of his adorable fluffy toebeans that are all soft pink jellybeans.

But a dear friend misheard me and thought I said I called him "Sidney-Beans".

so now that's what I'm gonna call him because that name is not only just as cute and accurate but also a pun and that makes it immediately 100% better.
