Gameplay wise though, the player sprite blocked a lot of action and the hit detection was wonky as hell.

Also you couldn't rapid fire like you could with the original.

Back when I was a kid, I owned a spectrum 128k+2 (I mean, I still do. It's not the original one, it's a model a, but still), but my dad used to buy all three of the magazines for that computer for me. Crash, Your Sinclair, and Sinclair User.
