i literally bought a set of polyhedral dice because when I looked at them I was like "holy shit orange flavoured Chewits dice" and okay they don't loook exactly like that but the colour they were literally made me think they would taste like that, even though orange Chewits don't look like that...
i uh
i have on occasion just... popped a couple in my mouth and just held them there. for... no reason.
Villager 1: "Wait, yesterday Johnny was tripping over his own feet and today he's fighting off bandits like he's been doing it his whole life. Must have been holding out on us."
Villager 2: "Yeah, and I guess he just inherited a bunch of armor and weapons? Just showed up at his house today. Some kids have all the luck."
Villager 3: "Nah, I've seen this before. It's not luck. It's a new game plus."
(h/t @KelethDragon for setting me on this train of thought)
i have revised my opinion on quake 2.
gameplay's fun as heck. gunplay feels amazing, sound design is way better than Quake 1 (seriously what was up with the shotguns in quake 1 sounding... anaemic at best. The guns in Q2 all sound far meatier and chunkier. The Orks would be proud. proper dakka.), Sonic Mayhem's music is pretty much awesome as heck for it too. The game feels and plays way better than its predecessor. also I don't have to be HURRRRGHANGRYMARIIINE
I think ... whatever this is, this is my favourite genre of music.
It's not pop. It's... different. she music (lain trzaska) does a lot of this sorta stuff too, though usually a more downbeat sorta kind? But I love it too. the entire Days and Journeys collections are full of it, plus Come See Me by she is a great track and one of my favourites ever
yeah i'm moving over to chitter.xyz now. Soooo go there! I'm there now.
