welp, black mesa pooped itself in Questionable Ethics. AI disabled itself, guessing due to node graph fuckery, realised I had a bunch of mods that are no longer compatible loaded, so unsubscribed from them now that they're all no longer needed, and tried to reload my save and the AI works!... but the lazer that you need to activate to exit that chapter ... worked?? but the terminals were missing. aaand then it crashes upon leaving the chapter in any direction. D:

that PC-98 aesthetic is so good. the music is great. the story is fun. it's like phoenix wright only there's no real fail-state exactly, you can just... mix drinks and get story and if you do well enough you can buy neat things to get more music tracks and whatnots but it's not really a 'game' exactly I guess??
