....uh...
okay so... I hired a crew member in Starbound (using the Frackin' Universe mod. I've had starbound for AGES and ages and ages and welp, gotten back into playing it lately with Miq, havin' a good time), and... they are an occult scholar, and I found her in a sarcophagus on an Avian zealot pyramid in space. Turns out her status was "kissed a girl and liked it" so I now have an eldrich investigator lesbian on my crew. \o/
Me a year or so ago: "ooh gta5 is on ridiculously cheap but... hmmm... nah I'll not bother, it's not like it'll be anything different to the previous games, and I guess I'm having more fun with Saints Row 3/4 (let's be real they're the same game, 4 is just an expansion pack to 3 honestly). Meh"
Me today: "...oh shit I can get GTA5 for free on epic? lol why the fuck not, it's free, even if I never play it, freeee :D "
imo, the fact that it was plausible in the 90s to make a complete, native (not-emulated) recreation of a platform from the 80s, on a single chip, but it's not plausible in the 20s to do that with a platform from the 00s, let alone the 10s, is a real indictment of the last two decades
yeah i'm moving over to chitter.xyz now. Soooo go there! I'm there now.
