indigenous cultures: [passes down methods for efficient and sustainable living and agriculture through traditions for thousands of years]
capitalists: "actually that technique is an 'invention' that industrial western society discovered for all of humanity in the past 200 years and it wouldn't exist without capitalism driving 'innovation'. now you have to give us money in order to do it"
Another reason FF15 is great
you can just... warp back to where you parked your car. or the last rest stop you rested at immediately (minus the car), so you never gotta go "fuck where'd I park again?" i mean even if you DO want to hoof it across the wilderness to find your sweet wheels you can still see on the map where it is, which is pretty great.
...could do with that feature in real life honestly. I can NEVER friggin remember where we parked.
It's my duck in a box~ (duckposting adjacent technically!)
So I was helping Miq with a lot of DIY work yesterday. On one project.
House renovations for the ducks :3
I forgot to take pictures of us working but we turned the shed into way more of a proper coop!
Check it! Bonus picture of Thulhu on a bale of hay that was temporarily moved a we could work on the shed :3
Thinkin' bout FF15 and how... the world ... is... kinda... a mess.
like for real
ruins everywhere, rusted out abandoned cars and trucks and buildings and...
...everyone's like "yeah that's normal, whatev"
...like there WAS some recent great war I guess but... I dunno, some of this feels more... ancient. like there was some huge friggin disaster, and PRETTY sure one of the landmarks I passed was a fuckin' meteor impact or some shit.
Some shit went down either way
also dammit Ignis let ME drive the damn car! I wanna go get the damn windscreen fixed, fuck!
remembering whichever Arc the Lad game it was that had a robot party member who could gain experience but not levels, so you could funnel the XP off to other party members to boost them
and fuckin Working Designs, who translated the game into English, called him Diekbeck, or "Diek" for short, just so that they could somehow smuggle THIS SHIT into the manual
captain disillusion, a visual effects superhero who dresses up in a tight suit made of bright colours and wears chrome makeup to debunk viral hoaxes has the catchphrase "Love with your heart, use your head for everything else!"
yeah i'm moving over to chitter.xyz now. Soooo go there! I'm there now.
