I just finished this quest.
it literally plays out like a fucking cheesy ass food advert wholesale.
like, it even has like, this ridiculously unnatural dialogue about the whole shit rofl.
AND IT IS BASICALLY NEVER REFERENCED AGAIN LOL
though I do like that while at camp I got a nice shot of Prompto and Gladio enjoying their instant noodles and Gladio of course has the BIG Cup Noodle.
fucking...
god.
i forgot that this game just straight up advertises a real world product in it. and that it does it... through not just an in game billboard, or a shop you can literally buy Cup Noodle brand Noodles from, that you can eat in game at camps as a meal, but also that there's a fucking quest centred around it that Gladio gives you oh god
omg i got a link strike with Ignis and I only just noticed... as Ignis dives in, his glasses fall off. Noct lands in a crouch after the strike... and with one smooth motion, sweeps up Iggy's glasses from the ground, and holds them up. Doesn't say a word. Ignis just takes them, and suavely puts them on like that was meant to happen, lol
uh...
...
prompto took... a photo... of himself... and Ignis... standing at the back end of a pier as they watched Noctis fish... the camera is positioned like... as if it was Noct taking it...
...
HOW DID YOU TAKE THIS, PROMPTO!?
Dunno if you've seen but the newest expansion to Sins: The Roleplaying Game (you know, that roleplaying game I helped write), is on KS, so uh. yeah! that will be book number 2 that I've had published!

i may have made a mistake by replacing a song from FF2's OST in FF15 with Gas Gas Gas from Initial D because I have since learned that there is such a thing as "chocobo drift"...
You press the brake/halt button (left trigger) when moving fast, and turn at the same time...
and you drift.
...
as a result any time I am riding a chocobo, I end up invariably having to put that song on. every time.
hey, obviously this is a petition which is deeply important to me, but also... its almost at 69 signatures, js... YOU could be 69th
that thread about DARVO
I said earlier that I'd talk about this, so.
It's important to know what DARVO is and how it's used as a tool to bully people into silence/complicity in bad behavior.
DARVO is an acronym. It stands for:
Deny
Attack
Reverse Victim and Offender.
It is a technique that is used by abusive people to cover up their abuse.
It is incredibly common. Knowing how to spot it is key.
yeah i'm moving over to chitter.xyz now. Soooo go there! I'm there now.
