speaking of screensavers, I'd totally forgotton that Windows 10 even has them. that's how long it's been since screen savers were a thing that was necessary.

...turns out there's a fun looking one called bubbles, which is rather soothing. pastel coloured bubbles floating around your default background colouration bouncing off each other.

There's no options for it tho, which... I feel contributes to its... somewhat erratic behaviour...

so recently i learned about the Inert Gas System used on fuel tankers and how it usually uses either Nitrogen or Carbon Dioxide to do it.

and how basically this means that fuel is potentially carbonated to make sure it doesn't explode on ships when being transported.
