the Dizzy games were like, bloody everywhere when I was a kid. Like, it's such a simple, ridiculous character design. Take an egg. put a face on it. give it boxing gloves and combat boots. Done.
And that little egg sold hundreds, thousands of copies of games in their series.
Not just on the Spectrum but across a whole bunch of them, some even on consoles like the NES and Sega Master System!
So "Eggs with Legs" I suppose is a familiar concept to me, but it still makes me giggle.

i was in sainsburys and someone was walking round with a fuckin bird on their shoulder. just this little birb perched on their shoulder and the two ofthem are just going shopping. tiny little borbo just looking around and going shopping. i walked past and smiled at them and they smiled back and i like to think the borlb smiled as well. on the way out the security guard was talking to an employee about the person with the bonrmb and they were smiling too. joyous birble day

I was running a female Argonian thief in oblivion and as such added a lot of acrobatic & femme animation sets. its great and honestly really helps play the character, but the side effect is Imperial horseman getting off their horse, doing standing backflip stabs and walking sasily away from corpses.
