fascism, evangelion subtitles, netflix

Rhetorically, fascism always moves on two fronts at the exact same time, but to different audiences.

For older demographics, it moves to inject itself into history, to convince those with conservative or traditionalist values that "this. this is what you're looking to return to. its the very core of it."

I've noticed dozens of queers, it's amazing.

Always bugged me how "Outride a Crisis" from Super Hang On is a nice tune but it always feels like... the hardware at the time really limited how good it could sound.

Then I found this cover youtube.com/watch?v=xvFmiYjKtI

I finally snapped this pic of urban flora!

These little pansies did a good job pushing through the cracks, but I wonder how.

They look to be mass produced annuals. Those flowers are usually sterile, how could they be planted here?

Anyway, they are friends and they make my morning walk a bit better!!

Decided to see what would happen if I trained a neural net to write names for self-aware AIs.
May I present: GPT-2 trained on AI names from Iain M. Banks's Culture novels

(2/2) funniest fucking train experience (transphobia, misgendering, heterosexism, transit harassment; +)

"but you were born a man" ('a doctor said I was a boy, but doctors often have to make that up out of whole cloth'), "but you can't have children" ('I can, I'd just have to adopt, and plenty of cis women can't give birth').

Finally: "You're a man." ('I am a woman.') And he said, "I understand that your situation is very hard," and I cut him off.

"It's a pretty sweet situation for me. I like it." He made a noncomittal noise; I continued. "It seems like this is difficult for YOU. When I say 'I am a woman,' that makes things complicated for YOU. But it's very simple for me. I am a woman. I have tits. My tits have grown because of the hormones in my body."

And THAT'S when he said "I'm sorry, I can't, I'm out," and moved seats away from me while I laughed and slapped my knee.

I got blocked by my own reply guy In Real Life
