so my entire room had to be dismantled in this bullshit heat, and then put back together again, and now, NOW that it's all done and everything's back in place... cold again. what the fuck. XD

Show thread

so, lately it's been freezing friggin cold, alternatively windy as all balls, raining-slash-snowing-slash-hailing-slash-sleeting.

The very day that we have three workmen over to fit a new carpet in my room and repair an existing carpet that a cat dug up when he got stuck in the room a week or so ago (poor baby, he was so good otherwise though!, no mess or anything anywhere!, just digging at the carpet to try and get out ;w; ), AND we have someone over to sort out the boiler, blistering hot.

Is there any greater feeling than seeing a 15 clue on a 15x15 picross grid and just being able to hold the button down and just... draw that bigass line filling that entire row or column in one?

...

why yes. Being able to do that over multiple lines at once :3

Ohhhhh, Wario mode is basically hard mode. you get no assistance aside from, I think, it pinging you when you make a blatantly wrong move and removing the square you just set in.

the doom bechdel test: must feature two demons talking to each other about something other than the slayer

Sometimes kinda get like I wish I could go back to the old RP site I was on and actually do regualr roleplay there because I wanna play a tiny li'l mouse girl jus' sneakin' aroun' bein' nice and providing for her fellow mice in her commune that aren't able to go out and forage.

I love janky 3rd party controllers. They always look either really REALLY nice but are glitchy as heck, or look like the weirdest shit ever but also work just fine, and there is almost NEVER any in between.

kids are great because you can tell them that one guy has more money than it would take to feed the entire world or that there’s more empty homes than houseless people and they understand why that is absurd and evil.

I could do anything right now. I'm playing an emulated rom of the Super Mario Picross game on SNES.

awwwwwwwww yeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaah

...fudge i've pinned the maximum amount of time as well. Turns out it's Xbone as well!

I really should watch what I say on here because my bot is gonna learn weird shit from me. fuck i said shit. SHIT I said fuck.

me playing this super mario picross game on SNES emulation: Oh cool I unlocked Wario's puzzles, this is more like it, I don't get pestered if I want a hint or not and the timer doesn't tick down so I got as long as I want even though I don't need that long because dang I love picross and I'm good at them... Oh hey! This puzzle's of a fish! :D
game: lol no *shows the coloured in version of the picross grid and then plays an animation*
me: oh it's a bomb. o_o;

#MastoMonday I recently released a little bee themed base builder/management sim called Hive Time 🐝 cheeseness.itch.io/hive-time

On the surface, it's about cute bees living in a zany world. At a slightly deeper level, it's about the delicate and deliberate effort needed to manage/maintain population diversity in a generational community.

If you check it out, I hope you find it interesting ❤️

thinking about that comic that just says "the risk I took was calculated... but man... am I bad at math."
