aw no. ;w; His publisher fucked him over in the end. So he's had to sell the computer anyway so he can keep working. Poor fucker.

like the moment he was working on it, it turned out his harddrive wasn't big enough. So I upgraded that. next job was that his psu just blew out in the middle of working.

Finally he got so pissed off with the damn thing that ... I dunno I guess he threw it at a WALL or some shit or hit it with a broadsword because the mobo was FUUUUCKED XD

And he's literally only sending it to me (I'm guessing on his editor's wallet loool) so his editor stops yelling at him hahahaa. I love this old fuck. XD

realtalk though I've been very amused by his jobs for me, like... the first one was "look I have an ancient pc - " it actually wasn't THAT ancient tbqh dunno where the dude got such a good processor for it "- and I need it upgraded so it can run [Office equivalent in game world] because my EDITOR says so [practicaly visible disdain in the writing tone]", and then... shit just keeps going wrong lol

very amused right now by one of my repeat clients who sadly is likely to have his last job from me because I suspect this is the last mission from him in career mode, but he's a writer who is basically george r r martin crossed with Alan Moore and so every one of his emails waxes poetic about how "modern technology has no soul" and how his editor is to blame for these constant tech issues because he "eschews the purity of real paper and pen and writing desks" and just, wow settle down Mr Moore.

This is actually extremely neat, the Cincinnati Museum of Art has made their CAM Collection of pieces available to Animal Crossing: New Horizon players via QR codes.

The QR code method is a bit tedeus if you want the whole collection and requires a smart phone and Nintendo Online app, but it's there.

Oh bloody hell I can't even do the job this guy's asking because he wants AIO water cooling and I have to be... what... level 16 to do that!? the fuck???

afajkhlfsjasfkljg I have no idea how good an Asus ROG Strix Radeon RX 560 OC Edition is so how the fuck am I meant to successfully upgrade it. Goddammit. This fucker can wait a day or two.

God I hate that I can never tell what a good Radeon card is

ah jeez I got two customers who want dual graphics cards I don't... actually know how to do that in this game... ._.;

me: "Kid, listen, I don't mind and all, guess it's none of my business... but what job are you doing that $600 is something you can just save up in a couple days, man!?"
Oliolioli: "STONKS"

what the fuck is this kid doing in PC Building Simulator that he can save up $600 in just a few days to upgrade his pc so he can become a big esports player in LoL

"I've seen outside Black Mesa, Gordon!... T H E R E ' S   N O T H I N G   T H E R E"

the whole thing with Half Life VR but the AI Is Self Aware when Dr Coomer sees outside of Black Mesa is... legit kinda terrifying. In a fun way, but... WOW.

aw yiss got a charger for my joycons now beside my bed heckin' yes, now I no longer have to keep taking off the Daemon X Machina controllers from the Switch itself

not being able to plug a second mouse into the computer and get a second cursor was an act of cowardice

is there anything quite as lovely as being out for a walk and you see a cat and they immediately perk up and walk over to you for petting?

I don't think too highly of the remixed soundtrack for The World Ends With You Final Remix honestly. I'm glad the original is available in game, but... hm.. even then it feels... I dunno... slightly altered?

So, question:

I want to have a hard drive attached to my Raspberry Pi so I can use it as a Plex server for my music. I also want that drive to be network mountable on my Mac so I can add media to it.

What format should I format that drive in?

AND

What protocol should I use to be able to connect to that drive?
