imo, the fact that it was plausible in the 90s to make a complete, native (not-emulated) recreation of a platform from the 80s, on a single chip, but it's not plausible in the 20s to do that with a platform from the 00s, let alone the 10s, is a real indictment of the last two decades
sometimes I do a pooptoot and it's just so friggin "out there" that if I didn't know better and was reading it from an utterly outside perspective I'd be like "is this some kind of markov chain bot or some bullshit" but no
no there is a markov chain bot of me
and the only way you can tell is that it's hosted on botsin.space as opposed to here.
i cant believe this is a hot take but here u go, tech related
reminder that not everyone is good at tech and some people will never be good at it no matter how hard they try and those people still deserve things like internet privacy and accessibility features, and chastising people for making tech mistakes is literally the least helpful thing you could do for them
I made a point in #cashflowforcreators of saying that it's okay for you to practice your craft for joy and that it didn't have to be a side hustle, or *any* kind of hustle. That joy is sufficient reason to do a thing.
Half of my first readers said they had never been told this. This makes me very sad.
If your art brings you joy, DO IT. Maybe you'll never make a penny off it, and that is totally OK.
Doing things for the joy of it is vital.
@Nine so is the lion the witch and the wardrobe
