If you want the QUEER HACKER design on a larger, high-quality weatherproof vinyl sticker and you want me to actually get paid for it, I sell them on my online shop here: https://shop.irisjay.net/products/crossed-wires-sticker-sets
If it's a real Iris Jay sticker, it'll have a URL that leads to either my site or the Crossed Wires site on it somewhere. I'm that thorough. Accept No Substitutes
This post has Big Duck Energy (duckposting!)
So, the ducks are doing really well now. We've upped their feed because apparently we were not giving them enough. ._.;;
More importantly though, they're far less frantic about eating now, which is great to see, and also they're going in the stream of their own accord :D
Still a touch handshy tho. but both of them eat from hands now which is lovely. (even if Yang does hiss a bit at me before she does so lol)
(also the only sound effects are a couple voices and white noise for the shurikens and impacts. wtf. no doggo.)
(The amiga had MODule tracker formats for its music it surely could have done better than... whatever the fuck that music is, yikes.)
(as a side note why, WHY does the Amiga version look and sound like so much ass what the fuck. I mean sure the Atari ST version soudned WAY WORSE but at least it looked real close to the arcade graphics. the Amiga version is...
...wrong somehow. Idk. It looks like a tacky DOS port or some shit)
EVEN THE EUROPE AND BRAZIL ONLY SMS CART was based on the Arcade version O_o
I mean... honestly I prefer the Megadrive one both for its music and gameplay and god it's so smooth and fast compared to the original arcade version, and it looks great, and god the bonus stage is way more fun :| but...
wow it's like an utterly different game, dang.
okay so I ended up randomly deciding "hey you know what I should listen to the Shadow Dancer megadrive OST ya?" and then I was like "OH! I should check out the ARCADE soundtrack! :D... :| ... why does it sound completely different??" so I looked up a video of comparison of versions and...
...wow the Megadrive version is basically utterly different to p. much EVERY SINGLE other version. ALL the others so far, INCLUDING ZX Spectrum and Amstrad and C64 are based on the arcade.
reminder that in street fighter there's this huge seemingly unofficial "tournament" where people just fly all over the world to beat the piss outta each other, and then occasionally take breaks to beat up some random car at the docks, or break barrels in a warehouse, or a pile of bricks/oil drums.
also that in the first Final Fight the characters happen across the car of a Mad Gear gang member and decide "lol let's trash this fucker's car" and do so, and stick around to witness his pain.
i failed my will save
I.... I think I should call this done or I'm gonna end up fucking around with it all week
Food mention, absolutely cursed content
Me: boy howdy I'm so glad my hell brain doesn't come up with truly cursed pooptoots.
My brain: "forced to hand in my British license after mistaking baking beans for baked beans"
Me: ... Ah. I forgot. The gates of heaven were barred to me long ago, weren't they?
yeah i'm moving over to chitter.xyz now. Soooo go there! I'm there now.
