yes, my custom firmware saved the day
the source code for the firmware i flashed onto my keyboard has the keymaps written out right here
if i wanted to remap it to dvorak with a togglable qwerty layer, i would have just used the configurator and been out of luck. but because i wanted to change the default LED configuration, too, i had to actually learn how to write the firmware stuff in C. and because i bothered to learn that, i figured i might as well put it on my git host
