Is there a linux app that does audio visualizations on PulseAudio devices? I control spotify over spotify connect to my linux tv computer but spotify has no visualization so my tv just sits with the playlist on the screen
@shaderphantom Have you looked into "projectm"? There's a QT5 version that hooks into the pulseaudio system
https://github.com/projectM-visualizer/projectm
@marlyn @shaderphantom does that make pulseaudio fairer and more balanced
@NovaSquirrel @shaderphantom (it's a FOSS implementation the "Milkdrop" visualizer, able to be plugged into many different applications/contexts)
@NovaSquirrel (though, that was that simply as a riff on the "projectM" smash hack, right? oops)
@marlyn yes it was entirely that :p
Computer Fairies is a Mastodon instance that aims to be as queer, friendly and furry as possible. We welcome all kinds of computer fairies!
