Maybe I should drop most of my remaining IRC networks since the channels I'm in there are mostly dead at this point.
@XerTheSquirrel I feel obligated to keep staying in my channel from 10 or 11 years ago as long as other people do, though it's pretty quiet and I'm just waiting out a natural, peaceful death for it at this point. Other peoples' dying channels on the other hand...
I mostly use HexChat for non-IRC purposes at this point actually but it's worth having up for those so I feel like it's not bothering me too much to be in a few channels too.
@NovaSquirrel Ah, understandable. I had been on IRC for more than a decade before I completely stopped using it. It seems very inevitable.
@NovaSquirrel I left IRC, it was pretty dead and it was like a few years ago. The only active places were filled with toxic guys, they were not nice and twisted anything I said to make them feel better about themselves.
