‪unusual hoard: gamecube memory cards‬

‪to do today - rip all of these, then turn the unopened madcatz card into a Swiss card (using the F-Zero GX exploit), then rip all my GBA games since all my dumps from my DS flash cart seem to be bad?

(Also any GB/GBC saves that have survived)‬

memory cards ripped, and homebrew booted (from a different memory card, Swiss is pretty big

there is a problem I didn't anticipate here - game boy interface doesn't appear to be able to dump gbc/GB games, just GBA games; the dump menu crashes if I insert Pokémon Red

this is made worse by the fact that right now, my Pokémon Red save file is still there - I expect GSC are gone, but I at least want to save RBY if I can

so guess I might have to look into an adapter after all

@Dex Yeah on top of the pinout being used a little differently, GBC runs at 3.3 volts while GBA runs at 5 volts and that's one barrier.

@Dex Actually I have it backwards oops. GBA is 3.3 volts and GBC is 5 volts. In general there seems to be a shift to lower voltages in modern stuff?
